Another option is Ottawa's Urban Camping: June 29 to July 4, 2017
Ottawa welcomes the world to the Nation’s Capital for the celebrations
of Canada’s 150th birthday. Be part of the red and white party for your
unforgettable Canada Day experience! In order to create extra
accommodation space to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the
2017 Canada Day festivities, the City of Ottawa has created a unique
urban camping experience. Details can be found at Camping150.
Information good to know:
Are
you thinking of bringing your car to the downtown core on Canada Day?
That might leave you frustrated driving around looking for a parking
spot or stuck in gridlock. It is highly recommended to take public
transit (OCTranspo, Taxi or Uber)
as most roads will be closed to vehicular traffic. The Montgomery
Legion is located within walking distance to the Transitway buses.
